Pay for the Olympics?

Hey Dwyane Wade! (his mom was crazy and named him DwYAne instead of DwAYne) why do you think that Olympic athletes need to be payed to represent their countries? There's absolutely no reason why a person selected by their country to play for them and bring pride to them should be compensated to play? He should be honored to be selected out of all the basketball players in this country to a team of 12 and stop complaining.
